Hey there 👋 We're Aly & Justin, a Utah-based photo-video team for adventure weddings and elopements in the great state of Utah. We work with couples to help them have the unique wedding experience that their story deserves.

With 3 years of experience in the adventure wedding & elopement industry and 6 years of experience in the wedding industry, we're basically seasoned experts at this whole thing by now. We want to point you down the path towards the wedding of your dreams, a wedding that is a perfect celebration of the love you and your partner share.

We go above and beyond to make sure our couples are happy.

We spend our free time exploring the lands of this great state we call home, and that means we have a constantly-growing list of incredible, off-the-beaten-path locations to share with our couples. We also have tons of connections within the wedding vendor community here in Utah, and we provide our couples with a list of recommendations so you aren’t left wondering what vendors you should hire or if your vendors will understand the unique needs of adventure weddings.

Our personal connection with this state also means we’re dedicated to being good stewards of the land while exploring with couples, which we do by following Leave No Trace ethics and educating our clients from the start about how they can help protect the environment before, during, and after their wedding day.

As part of our effort to give back to the land, to those who were here before us, and to those in need, we’ve recently pledged to donate 2% of every package to charity. We’ve selected three charities (Leave No Trace Center, Navajo Relief Fund, and The Trevor Project) and when couples book with us, they can choose which of those charities they want us to donate 2% of their package to.

THINGS WE’LL HELP WITH:

Once you book with us, we’ll guide you through the entire planning process and we’ll be there to help you every step along the way. We’ll send you questionnaires to get an idea of what your vision is. From there, we’ll send you location and activity lists to help you decide where to get married and what kinds of activities you’ll do on your day. We’ll help you figure out what permits you need, and help you with questions about logistics and anything else that may come up along the way. We’ll work with you to craft the perfect timeline for your day, and then on the day of your adventure wedding or elopement we’ll be there to capture every part of the story, not just the traditional poses. The Full Process:

Step 1— Consultation Call

Taking the first steps to plan your adventure wedding or elopement might seem really intimidating, but we’ll help make it easy for you! First things first, fill out our contact form so that we have your contact information and can get an idea of what you’re looking for. Once we have your info we will reach out to you within 48 hours to set up a consultation phone call. During the consultation, we’ll get to know each other a bit and go over your cool ideas for locations, outfits, activities, food and anything else you’ve dreamed up. We will also discuss our packages and work together to figure out how much coverage will be best for you. Don’t worry, though— even if you have no idea what you want to do on your day, we’ll still chat to go over your wants and needs. We can figure out the rest once you book.

Step 2— Book and Plan

Once you book, we’ll get started on planning your dream day! We’ll help you find vendors, locations, activities, and help you figure out what permits you’ll need. The process of planning your adventure wedding or elopement can differ depending on what exactly you want, and our process changes based on your needs. Generally speaking, though, our first step in planning is to come up with a list of locations that seem to fit what you’re looking for. We will go over this list with you, and once you decide on a location, we’ll start planning out the stuff you’ll do on your day— hiking, climbing, jeeping, etc. The activities available to you on your big day often depend on the location and time of year, so we’ll work with you to figure out what would be best. From there, we’ll help with getting any necessary permits, finding vendors that fit your needs, and solving any type of logistical problems you may face.

Step 3— Finalize the Timeline

Once you’ve picked a location, decided on your vendors, and have a general vision for how you want to spend your dream day, we’ll draft up a few timelines using the list of activities we’ve discussed. These activities could be anything from jeeping down a long dirt road in Moab to taking a heli-tour over the mountain— there’s no rules for adventure weddings and elopements! About three months before your day, we’ll send you these timelines and then chat on the phone to determine which of them will be the best fit for you (and which sounds the most fun!). If we need to make any adjustments, we will work together to figure those out. Your adventure wedding day is all about YOU. It should be the day of your dreams, and we work hard to make that happen. Figuring out the timeline will give you a clearer picture of how your day will go and help make sure we’re on the same page so your day is awesome!

Step 4— GET MARRIED!

Your adventure wedding or elopement day is so much more than just a long photoshoot. You and your partner have spent months planning your dream day and you finally get to live it! We’ll have the best time hanging out together, and while we love getting those epic shots with the panoramic views, our main focus is on capturing the small, intimate moments between you and your partner. We are there to photograph not just your day and the fun adventures you go on, but also to capture who you truly are as a couple. We prioritize your comfort while also making sure your pictures and video turn out as epic as possible, which is why we document your day using a mix of guidance and prompts to bring out your personalities and emotions. Our editing style is inspired by film and our pictures are true to color— the way we see it, you chose out your location because you think it’s beautiful, so we would be doing you a disservice if our edits didn’t accurately portray how your day looked.

Step 5— Get Your Pictures Back & Relive Your Day

Within a few days of your adventure wedding or elopement, we’ll send you 4-8 sneak peek pictures from your day, as well as a 1-2 minute sneak peek video. All of our pictures are delivered in an online photo gallery, where you can view and download individual photos or the entire gallery at once. Our videos are shared on our YouTube channel and delivered via downloadable link. Feel free to share these links with loved ones (if you want to) so they can view your pictures as well. Generally, we will send out your full video and full photo gallery 10-12 weeks after your day. We love the editing process and this time is spent making sure that each and every picture is perfect, and that your full video really captures the feeling of your day. Once we deliver your gallery and video, you’re free to share on social media and print your photos wherever you would like. On your day we put all of our effort into documenting the unique relationship you share with your partner, and our goal is to provide you with photos that will allow you to relive your day every time you look at them. The best part of our job is knowing how important the pictures and video from your day are, and we promise that you will love them!
